Our Coaches Completed Training in Hull

Eight coaches from the Hull City Academy Türkiye technical staff attended a week-long methodology training programme at the Hull City AFC academy facilities in England.

During the programme, our coaches studied the club's current youth curriculum, training planning approach and player assessment criteria at first hand, and carried out joint on-pitch sessions with the club's academy coaches.

Academy Director James Whitfield said: "We run this kind of training twice a year so that our coaches in Türkiye can apply the club methodology exactly. Our aim is to ensure an athlete in Istanbul receives precisely the same education as an athlete in Hull."

The next training programme will take place during the coming winter period.
